One of the most original and specific bboy from Havikoro Crew!

1. Introduce yourself – where are you from, what crew do you represent, you are bboy since?

Peace and Love to all! Who am I? That's prolly the most difficult ? on this interview. Well in short I'm a Knight On a Rhythm Odyssey. I've been on this Odyssey (Dance wise) since 1999 and Rep. Only one. HAVIKORO!

2.    Describe your typical day schedlude?

Monday-Friday I spend my precious Hours Striving to Provide a better life for Myself and My Son. 7am - 5:30 PM. After that It's all About Learning and Growing Through Life. I always get asked How I do This and Stay Relevant in this Growing Culture. It's all about LOVE! I Love This Culture and I Love To Dance!
That love is what keeps me Relevant. It's like Asking A Bird Why It Flies!? They Do it Cause They Were Born To Do It! To Many Bboys now-a-days Are Looking for the Fame in this Culture, When they should be looking for the LOVE in it!

3.    Do you use sauna, massage, practice in the gym,  bicycle, swimming, etc.?

Reading and Running is what i use! Both are Crucial To a Healthy Lifestyle! Mentally and Physically I do use my Garage Quite Often! It's like my Little Temple where i can Create, Remember, Forget, Laugh, Etc.

4.    What do you eat during your day? Have you got any diet or special food program to sustain your shape?

I try and eat Healthy But Being From Texas, There is Nothing But Good Food. And Good Food Usually equals Unhealthy Food! But Lately I've been getting better at it! Tomato Basil Soup All day!

5.    You are happy dad:) Tell us more about it. Will your son be a bboy?

I am A very Happy Father! He is the light of my life and My Inspiration! I've had to grow up alot sooner then alot of bboys. But that is a good thing in my eyes!
My son is allready Bboying! I didnt push him into it either! All on his own freewill! My Crew is allways around...Practicing & Chilling... And Of course him being a boy, He would Mirror us! Naturally Hip Hop Was allways around and he picked up on it! It really is a sight to see him get down! He does like 3 minute rounds! Takes up the whole song!

6.     Who was your first inspiration for Breaking?

Luis/Chuy Avalos and Bruce Ham were my very first Inspirations! Underground cats from The Houston scene Whom took me to House Parties with Bboys getting down and they introduced me to the Legendary Practice Spot YA (Youth Advocates) where i first met my Crew HAVIKORO Without them, I would Probably Not Be where i am today.

7.     How did you join to Havikoro?

Ever since going to YA, I wanted to be apart of HAVIKORO. Lil John, Moy, Marlon, Boy...All Legends!
I knew that i was suppose to apart of that. But It was a Process For me. Marlon really wanted me down from the beginning. The others wanted me to prove myself more. I mean we were all Boys and Family, But They still thought i had to get some stripes and respect. After some Years Of Repping throughout the USA... I was Put Down! Looking Back Im Glad i didn't get in right away. It taught me that you have to work hard for something you want! Thank you to all of HaviKORO for Helping me grow into the Person i am today!

8.     Lil John and Moy are not any more in Havikoro. Why? Which members are in HK currently?

HAVIKORO Currently Consists of the Following Knights:Marlon, Palmer, Zeshen, Joel, Kirk, Mario, Blas, Jeremy, Lady Bug, Nasty Nate, Rick Lil John & Moy chose to go in a different Direction. Nothing But Respect and Love For them! Moy Still Reps with us every so often. John Now Lives In LA, California

9.     How do you practice?

I listen to the Music! 8)

10.    What music plays in your practice spot?

It's allways Different! Music is the Key!

11.    Routines: Who design all HK routines? How often do you practice routines?

HAVIKORO...Routines!!?? We dont do them to often, but when we do, we all Throw in Ideas. We Hardly Ever Practice Routines My crew has and always will be Recognized For our Individual Unique Styles! Really Sad How Some Crews Bend To the Will Of Competitions for a "Win" Express...Not Impress!

12.    Describe your local bboy scene? Are there any unknown cats or upcoming raw bboys/crews?

The Scene Here is Very Young, Alot of New Faces, and Weird! But I think it's a reflection of the Whole scene in general. "HIP HOP" dance Styles are everywhere on TV. People Don't Know what they are doing or even WHY There are a couple of diamonds in the rough though!

13.    Who would you like to battle in future like 1 on 1 or crew vs crew?

Whoever wants to Test Skillz!

14.    What is your conception for a battle? Do you have any patterns to win?

I've Been on a losing Streak lately! haha No Patterns. Just Express myself and Listen to the Music!

15.    What do you do a night before important battle/Jam?

I usually Try and get some good rest! Eat Right! But usually you are out of town with your boys and Freinds you haven't seen in awhile, So that gets a little hard. I think you can gain alot more from chilln and Talking To your Fellow Peers sometimes anyways!

16.    What do you prefer: big event on the stage or small jams and just chill in a cyphers?

I Like them All! Different Strokes for Different Folks! But The Cypher is where my heart will always be!

17.    Can you tell us what moves are freshest and unique at this moment in bboying worldwide?

There's allways Trends. What may be Fresh to me...Maybe Wack to you! Having Fun is Allways Fresh!

18.    Bboy City Hawaii 2010 - you were there as a judge. What vibe was on a jam and what can you
tell about Hawaii's bboys skills?

Hawaii was a Blessing! And I want to Thank Romeo and BBOY CITY for having me! Such a Beautiful Place! Beautiful people! They're Skill is still Rising and has some room to grow! But Overall..I Liked it alot! The Vibe at the jam was perfect! Lots of people dancing and giving Love!

19.    Any future plans?

Everyday is a blessing and i try not to look to far into the Future! Being Happy Is the Main Goal!

20.    What was the best and what was the worst jam/competition you kicked in last few months?

The Best Jam Is Always Waiting for me in My Garage! The Worst jam, A local Jam here in Houston. Toys trying to get a buck off of our culture.

21.    Do you deal with other hip hop elements, ex. Are you a Dj, graffiti writer, MC etc.

I eventually want to become a Break DJ, But at this moment I'm a avid Vinyl Collector! Shout Outs to Lean Rock For taking me Under his wing somewhat. Much Love to Horse Power & B Ryan (Little Green Apples) For the Inspiration!

22.    Bboy wear – what is your favourite outfit to dance (top, trousers, sneakers) and what are the wackest bboy clothes ? Do you think that what bboy wears, has influence in what he represents on the dancefloor?

I Use To allways get Clowned By My Crew For going for COMFORT over LOOKS. In Growing and Learning, I have found that It does affect the Way you dance to some degree. I Guess Im Somewhere in the middle now! Comfortly Fresh Clothes!

23.    Is there any interesting book you recommend to read?

PABLO NERUDA's Poetry! My Lil Broski put me on game!

24.    Music  – did you listen any dope CD ‘s lately?

Bobbi Humphrey - BLACKS & BLUES

25.    Your favourite movie? Why?

Anything From Stanley Kubrick! His movies allways have a reflection on Society and Makes you ponder things!
